How You Can Help

DONATIONS

Mexi Mutt Rescue is always happy to accept donations!  The costs add up for vaccinations, spaying and neutering, and flights to Canada.  You can see the break down of costs on the bottom of the 'Adoptable' page.  If you are able to donate please click the 'Donate' button located above (and found on most pages).  This is provided by PayPal.

Please note, Mexi Mutt Rescue is not yet registered as a non-profit organization, therefore we can not give receipts for tax purposes, but ALL donations go straight to helping these dogs get healthy and into loving homes.

TRAVELLERS

We are always looking for people traveling from Puerto Vallarta to Vancouver and Victoria, B.C. who are willing to travel with a rescue dog.  There will be someone on the PV side to get the dog and paperwork ready for flight.  Then there will be someone on the B.C. side to pick up the dog from the airport.  It is easiest for us to pick dogs up from  Victoria Airport and Nanaimo Airport, but we can also make arrangements to pick up from the Vancouver International Airport.  This is important as it costs four times the amount for a dog to fly alone!

ADOPT A MEXI MUTT

Rescue dogs can make a great addition to the family.  If you can give one of our dogs a loving home, please contact us.  We do ask to do a home check to make sure the dog and family will be an ideal match!

Areas we adopt our dogs are Vancouver Island, Vancouver and Puerto Vallarta.

TRAVEL WITH EMPTY KENNEL

Once the dogs arrive here in Canada we need to get the kennels back to Mexico in order for more dogs to be able to make their journey.  It costs more to use a shipping company and ship an empty dog kennel back to Mexico than it does to buy a new one.  If you are traveling from Vancouver Island to Puerto Vallarta and are willing to bring an empty dog kennel with you as baggage, please let us know!  This is very critical to the amount of dogs we can save.

Wish List

-small to medium size collars and leashes

-discounts on shipping empty dog kennels from Canada back to PV so more dogs can make their way to their new life!
